Garth Brooks, Leon Russell, Allen Toussaint, et al. To Be Inducted Into Songwriters Hall of Fame

John Bettis, Garth Brooks, Leon Russell, Allen Toussaint, and the team of Billy Steinberg and Tom Kelly will be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame on June 16 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. Additional special award honorees will be announced soon.

The Songwriters Hall of Fame was established in 1969. Past honorees include Kris Kristofferson, Carole King, Holland-Dozier-Holland, Dolly Parton, James Taylor, Van Morrison, Bruce Springsteen, Sir Elton John, Bernie Taupin, and Loretta Lynn.

Tickets for the Songwriters Hall of Fame event begin at $1000 each, and are available by calling 212-573-6933. Net proceeds from the event will go towards the Songwriters Hall of Fame programs.
