Clay Aiken, Fantasia, Adam Lambert, Jordin Sparks, et al. to Be Featured on New American Idol CD

American Idol 10th Anniversary — The Hits, a CD to commemorate the FOX series first decade, will be released on March 15, according to EW.com.

Many of the Idol contestants have Broadway and other theatrical credits. The CD’s set list is as follows: “Since U Been Gone” by Kelly Clarkson; “Superstar” by Ruben Studdard; “Invisible” by Clay Aiken; “When I See You” by Fantasia; “Before He Cheats” by Carrie Underwood; “Takin’ It To The Streets” by Taylor Hicks; “Home” by Daughtry; “No Air” by Jordin Sparks (with Chris Brown); “Light On” by David Cook; “Live Like We’re Dying” by Kris Allen; “Whataya Want From Me” by Adam Lambert; and “Sweet Serendipity” by Lee DeWyze.

The series recently began its new season, with judges Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez joining Randy Jackson. Ryan Seacrest is the series’ host.
