Susan Blackwell, Jill Eikenberry, Ann Harada, et al. to Join Christopher Sieber in The Kid

Additional casting has been announced for the New Group’s production of The Kid: The Musical, which will begin previews on April 10 in anticipation of an official opening of May 6. Scott Elliott will direct the production.

The piece is based on sex columnist Dan Savage’s book The Kid: What Happened After My Boyfriend and I Decided to Go Get Pregnant and features music by Andy Monroe, book by Michael Zam, and lyrics by Jack Lechner.

As previously announced, two-time Tony Award nominee Christopher Sieber will star as Savage. The company will also feature Jill Eikenberry (Savage’s mother), Jeannine Frumess (Melissa), Lucas Steele (Terry), and Michael Wartella (Bacchus), along with Susan Blackwell, Ann Harada, and Brooke Sunny Moriber.
