Rachel Weisz will star opposite Daniel Crag in the movie Dream House, according to a report in Variety. Jim Sheridan will direct the film, which has a screenplay by David Loucka.

Dream House focuses on a New York publishing exec (Craig) who relocates his wife (Weisz) and two daughters to a quaint New England town, only to discover that their new home was the scene of a vicious murder. The film will also feature Naomi Watts, who will play a neighbor who was close to the slain family.

Weisz is a current Olivier Award nominee for her performance in A Streetcar Named Desire. Her performance in Tennessee Williams’ play has also earned her an Evening Standard Award and a Whatsonstage.com Award nomination. She currently can be seen on the Big Screen in The Lovely Bones. Among her other recent film credits are Agora and My Blueberry Nights, as well as the recently completed The Whistleblower.
