Full casting has been announced for the Broadway revival of Promises, Promises starring Sean Hayes and Kristin Chenoweth. Rob Ashford will direct and choreograph the production that begins previews on March 27 at the Broadway Theatre in anticipation of a April 25 opening.

As previously reported, the company will also feature Tony Goldwyn (J.D. Sheldrake), Katie Finneran (Marge MacDougall), and Brooks Ashmanskas (Mr. Dobitch).

They will be joined by Dick Latessa (Dr. Dreyfuss), Peter Benson (Mr. Kirkeby), Sean Martin Hingston (Mr. Eichelberger), and Ken Land (Jesse Vanderhof). The ensemble features Cameron Adams, Ashley Amber, Helen Anker, Nathan Balser, Wendi Bergamini, Nikki Renee Daniels, Sarah Jane Everman, Chelsea Krombach, Keith Kuhl, Matt Loehr, Mayumi Miguel, Brian O’Brien, Sarah O’Gleby, Adam Perry, Megan Sikora, Matt Wall, Ryan Watkinson and Kristen Beth Williams.

The musical, based on the 1960 Academy Award winning film The Apartment, features a book by Neil Simon and a score from Burt Bacharach and Hal David, which includes such hits as “I’ll Never Fall In Love Again,” “Promises, Promises,” and “Knowing When to Leave.” It tells the story of the Consolidated Life Insurance Company and Chuck Baxter (Hayes), one of its charming young employees. In an effort to advance at the company, he lends executives his apartment for their extramarital romantic trysts. But things become slightly complicated when Fran Kubelik (Chenoweth), the object of Chuck’s affection, becomes the mistress of one of his executives.

The creative team will include Scott Pask (scenic design), Bruce Pask (costume design), Donald Holder (lighting design), and Brian Ronan (sound design). Orchestrations are by Jonathan Tunick, with music direction by Phil Reno, and dance music arrangements by David Chase.
