Mike Daisey to Host The Great and Secret Show Broadcasts

Mike Daisey will host three broadcasts of The Great and Secret Show in front of a live audience at WNYC’s The Greene Space, March 12, April 16, and May 12 at 7pm. The programs will be simulcast over the web from www.wnyc.org/thegreenespace.

The Great and Secret Show is a fictional radio program that will blend Daisey’s storytelling with news and interviews with the newsmakers. Daisey will invite special guests — some actors, some real folks — blurring the lines of fact and fiction in his own uniquely humorous way. The broadcasts will also feature analysis and social critique.

Daisey’s monologues include The Last Cargo Cult, How Theater Failed America, If You See Something Say Something, Invincible Summer, I Miss the Cold War, Great Men of Genius, Wasting Your Breath and 21 Dog Years.
