Kate Moira Ryan’s Bass for Picasso to Play Off-Broadway in April

Kate Moira Ryan’s new play, Bass for Picasso will receive its world premiere Off-Broadway at Theatre Row’s Kirk Theatre, April 17-May 23, with an opening on May 2. Ike Schambelan will direct. Casting will be announced at a later date.

Produced by Theater Breaking Through Barriers, the play is about five gay New Yorkers and one memorable dinner party hosted by an amputee and food writer for the New York Times.

Ryan is the co-author of 25 Questions for a Jewish Mother, Mommie Queerest (both with Judy Gold), and The Beebo Brinker Chronicles (with Linda S. Chapman).
