Two-time Academy Award winner Dianne Wiest and Obie winner John Douglas Thompson will star in Alexander Ostrovosky’s The Forest, translated by Kathleen Tolan, to run April 23 – May 30 at Classic Stage Company. Brian Kulick will direct the production.

In Ostrovsky’s play, two vagabond actors, posing as gentry, crash an orderly manor, turning it upside down. The company also features Adam Driver, Quincy Dunn-Baker, Herb Foster, Lisa Joyce, Lizbeth MacKay, George Morfogen, John Christopher Jones, and Tony Torn.

The creative team includes Santo Loquasto (scenic design), Peter Kaczorowski (lighting design), Marco Piemontese (costume design), and Christian Frederickson and Ryan Rumery (original music and sound design).
