Stage and screen star Henry Winkler will join the cast of the USA series Royal Pains as Eddie Lawson, father to the series' main characters, Hank (Mark Feuerstein) and Evan (Paulo Costanzo). The series will begin its second season this summer.

Winkler has appeared on Broadway in Neil Simon's The Dinner Party and made his debut in 1972 in 42 Seconds to Broadway. He also appeared in the LATW production of The Ruby Sunrise.

The actor is best known for his work as Arthur "Fonzie" Fonzarelli in the hit ABC sitcom Happy Days. His other television credits include Arrested Development, Out of Practice and Numb3rs.
