Gossip Girl‘s Matthew Settle to Play Billy Flynn in Broadway’s Chicago

Matthew Settle, who plays Rufus Humphrey on the CW Network’s television series Gossip Girl, will star as Billy Flynn in the Broadway production of Chicago at the Ambassador Theatre, for a ten-week engagement, March 29-June 6.

Chicago has been directed by Walter Bobbie and choreographed by Ann Reinking. The creative team includes John Lee Beatty (scenic design), William Ivey Long (costume design), Ken Billington (lighting design), and Scott Lehrer (sound design).

Settle’s other credits include a starring role in TNT’s television series Into the West, HBO’s Band of Brothers, and the films Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, U-571, and The Mystery of Natalie Wood.
