Playwrights Horizons has extended its production of Bruce Norris’ Clybourne Park by two weeks. The production, directed by Pam MacKinnon, will now run through March 21.

The play is loosely inspired by Lorraine Hansberry’s A Raisin in the Sun, and examines issues of gentrification as a white family moves out of a neighborhood in 1959 and another white family moves into the same neighborhood in 2009. The company includes Crystal A. Dickinson, Brendan Griffin, Damon Gupton, Christina Kirk, Annie Parisse, Jeremy Shamos, and Frank Wood.

The production features scenic design by Dan Ostling, costume design by Ilona Somogyi, lighting design by Allen Lee Hughes, and sound design by John Gromada.
