Blue Coyote’s Glee Club Announces Casting

Casting has been announced for Blue Coyote Theater Group’s production of Matthew Freeman’s Glee Club, to be performed at the Access Theater, March 3-April 3, with an opening on March 6. Kyle Ancowitz will direct.

The comedy is about eight misfit members of Romeo, Vermont’s cut-throat Glee Club. The piece previously played a sold-out engagement at last summer’s Antidepressant Festival, and includes the song, “The World Will Make You Smile,” featuring music and lyrics by Stephen Speights.

Original cast members Bruce Barton, Robert Buckwalter, David DelGrosso, Carter Jackson, Stephen Speights, Tom Staggs, and Matthew Trumbull will be joined by Steven Burns. The design team will feature Robert Monaco (sets), Wheeler Kincaid (lighting), and Jonna McElrath (costumes).
