Susan Louise O’Connor Completes Broadway’s Blithe Spirit Cast

Susan Louise O’Connor will play Edith in the upcoming Broadway revival of Noel Coward’s comedy Blithe Spirit, which will begin performances at the Shubert Theater on February 26. The production, which will open officially on March 26, will be directed by Michael Blakemore, who won two Tony Awards in 2000 for Copenhagen and Kiss Me Kate.

As previously announced, the show will star Rupert Everett, Angela Lansbury, Christine Ebersole, Simon Jones, and Deborah Rush. The creative team will include set designer Peter J. Davison, costume designer Martin Pakledinaz, and lighting designer Brian MacDevitt.

O’Connor, who is making her Broadway debut, has starred Off-Broadway in such shows as Marion Bridge, Walk Two Moons, Never Swim Alone, See Bob Run, and St. Scarlet. Her regional credits include What the Butler Saw and Wonder of the World.
