Stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kim Cattrall, and Kristin Davis, along with writer/director/producer Michael Patrick King have signed for a sequel to the Sex and the City movie, according to Variety.
The trade publication reports that while there is no script nor planned shooting date, the project is shooting for a summer 2010 release. Like the previous film and the HBO series before it, the film will follow the lives of gal pals Carrie (Parker), Samantha (Cattrall), Miranda (Nixon), and Charlotte (Davis), and their assorted friends, colleagues, and lovers.
