Epic Theatre Ensemble to Honor John Guare and Stanley Tucci

Epic Theatre Ensemble will honor John Guare and Stanley Tucci at its eighth annual Winter Gala, to be held at Twenty-Four Fifth, March 9 at 6 pm.

The event will benefit Epic’s Arts-in-Education programs, and feature a keynote address by Eric Booth. The evening will begin with cocktails at 6pm, followed by dinner at 7:30 pm, and will also include a live auction.

Guare’s plays include House of Blue Leaves, Six Degrees of Separation, Landscape of the Body, Bosoms and Neglect and the librettos for the musicals Sweet Smell of Success and Two Gentlemen of Verona. Tucci received a Tony nomination for the Broadway revival of Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune, and he won an Emmy Award for his guest starring performance in the TV series Monk.
