Obie Award winner David Greenspan will give two readings of Gertrude Stein's rarely-performed theatrical lecture Plays at the Cherry Lane Theater at 7:30pm on Mondays, February 16 and 23. The event is hosted by the Foundry Theater, which will present the work next season as part of a larger evening.

Greenspan's work as author and performer includes The Argument, Lipstick Traces, She Stoops to Comedy, Cornbury, Some Men, Faust, and The Boys in the Band. In May, MCC Theater will present his adaptation of Coraline, with a musical score by Stephin Merritt, in which Greenspan will play the role of Other Mother.

The February 16 performance is free, while tickets for the February 23 performance are $20 and benefit the Foundry. Reservations are recommended for both performances; visit www.thefoundrytheatre.org.
