Cherry Lane Announces Cast for Deirdre O’Connor’s Jailbait

Casting has been announced for the world premiere of Deirdre O’Connor’s Jailbait, which will be the inaugural production at The Cherry Lane Theatre’s newest Off-Broadway theatre, The Cherry Pit. Suzanne Agins will direct the show, which will run March 19-April 25, with an opening set for March 25.

The play is about two teenaged girls and the men they meet when they pose as college students during a night out at a club in Boston. Jailbait was developed last year as part of the Cherry Lane’s Mentor Project 2008, with Michael Weller serving as mentor.

The cast will include Kelly AuCoin, Peter O’Connor, Natalia Payne, and Wrenn Schmidt. The creative team will include Kina Park (set), Rebecca Bernstein (costumes), Pat Dignan (lighting), and Daniel Kluger and Brandon Wolcott (sound).
