Danza, Feldshuh, Neuwirth, Skinner to Play Feinstein’s in 2008

Tony Danza, Tovah Feldshuh, Bebe Neuwirth and Emily Skinner have been added to the 2008 season at Feinstein’s at the Loews Regency (540 Park Avenue).

Feldshuh will perform her cabaret show Tovah in a Nutshell, March 4-15. She will sing selections from George Gershwin to Judy Collins and play a variety of characters. Feldshuh is a four-time Tony Award nominee and won numerous awards for playing Golda Meir in Golda’s Balcony.

Neuwirth will make her Feinsteins’ debut, May 20-31. She is a two-time Tony Award winner for Chicago and Damn Yankees. Danza, one of the club’s most popular attractions, will return June 3-14. He is best known for his television work on Taxi and Who’s the Boss? and starred on Broadway in The Iceman Cometh and A View from the Bridge.

Skinner will present her show Broadway, Her Way, June 1 and 8. She is best known for her work in Side Show, for which she received a Tony Award nomination, and her other Broadway credits include Dinner at Eight and James Joyce’s The Dead.

Tony Award winner Betty Buckley is making her fourth appearance at the club through February 24. Spring Awakening star Lea Michele will perform on February 25; and R&B legend Freda Payne will salute Ella Fitzgerald, February 26-March 1.
In the coming months, Klea Blackhurst will appear on March 9; soprano Anna Bergman will appear on March 24; Christina Fontanelli will play on March 30; Barbara Schottenfeld will perform on April 6; Gianni Russo will perform on April 14; daytime television diva Eileen Fulton will play the club, April 27-28; club favorite Harvey Granat will return on May 12 and 19; Legally Blonde star Orfeh will appear on June 2; chanteuse Julie Budd will perform on June 22-23, and former Rent star Adam Pascal will play the club June 29-30.
