Calvert, Findlay, Perkins, et al. Set for Musicals Tonight!’s Roberta

Full casting has been announced for the Musicals Tonight! production of the 1933 Jerome Kern-Otto Harbach musical Roberta, to run March 4-16 at the McGinn/Cazale Theatre. The production will be directed by Thomas Mills, with musical direction by James Stenborg.

The musical tells of a former American football player who comes to Paris and takes over the management of his aunt’s shop and falls in love with its chief designer, who turns out to be a Russian princess. The show’s songs include “Smoke Gets In Your Eyes,” “I Won’t Dance,” and “Lovely to Look At.”

The principal cast will feature Heath Calvert, James Donegan, Diane J. Findlay, Jaclyn Huberman, William McCauley, Jenny Neale, Patti Perkins, Marni Raab, and James Zannelli. The ensemble will include Dawn Cantwell, Aaron Galligan-Stierle, Emma Lorraine Giffen, Aaron Lenhart, Elena Mindlina, Chris Pinnella, Robert Teasdale, and Erika Zabelle.
