Bloom, Molina, Sarsgaard, Thompson, et al. Set to Film An Education

Stage and film stars Orlando Bloom, Alfred Molina, Rosamund Pike, Peter Sarsgaard, and Emma Thompson will appear in Lone Scherig’s film An Education, which will shoot in London next month, according to Variety.
The movie, which has a screenplay by Nick Hornby, is set in the 1960s and concerns a 17-year-old girl (played by Carey Mulligan) who is whisked off her feet by an unsuitable older man (played by Sarsgaard). The cast also features Sally Hawkins and Olivia Williams.
Scherfig, who hails from Denmark, is best known for the film Italian for Beginners, which won numerous international awards.
