Actors Joe Mantegna, Jonathan Tucker, Lesley Anne Warren, and Olivia Wilde, and Oscar winning screenwriter Bobby Moresco will lend their talents to a pair of seminars to benefit the newly-formed VetStage Foundation in Los Angeles on Saturday, March 3 at the Elephant Asylum Theatre in Hollywood. VetStage is a theater company made up primarily of war veterans who have served in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Moresco, the Oscar-winning screenwriter and producer of Crash, Million Dollar Baby and the new NBC TV series The Black Donnellys, will host the seminars. The first, to be held from 10am-2pm, is an actors’ workshop, in which performers can work on scenes with Moresco, casting director Sarah Finn, and manager Al Onorato. The second, to be held from 3pm-7pm, is a writers’ workshop, where scenes will be read by the aforementioned actors and critiqued by Moresco, producer Larry Bescey, and producer Mark R. Harris.

VetStage’s inaugural season will begin on March 23 with The Wolf, written by artisitic director Sean Huze and directed by Rick Pagano. The season is also tentatively scheduled to include productions of David Rabe’s The Basic Training of Pavlo Hummel and John DiFusco’s Tracers.

Cost for the seminars are $125 for one or $200 for both, with all proceeds to benefit VetStage. For reservations or information, call 323-960-7785 or visit www.vetstage.org.
