Burtka, Cahoon, Harris, Reinders, et al. Set for Rocky Horror Benefit

Acting For a Cure will stage a benefit performance of Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Tribute Show at 8pm on Monday, April 16 at the American Airlines Theatre. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Louisville and NYC affiliates of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, which fights breast cancer.

The show’s principal cast will feature Neil Patrick Harris as the Narrator, David Burtka as Riff Raff, Kevin Cahoon as Dr. Frank ‘N’ Furter, Rachel Helson as Janet, Kate Reinders as Columbia, Howie Michael Smith as Rocky, Michael Sutherland as Brad, Cathy Trien as Magenta, Michael Formika-Jones as Eddie, E.J. Carroll as Dr. Scott, and Harrison Hill, Sara Frazier, Nathan Norrington, Loresa Lanceta, and Christopher Neubauer as the Phantoms.

The show will be directed by Gil Reyes. Musical direction will be by David Purcell, and the band will feature Purcell, Martyn Ax, and Jan Tilley.
