Burke, MacNichol, Pearl, et al. Set for Falcon’s Where’s Poppa?

Marylouise Burke, Katie MacNichol, Jeff Marlow, Rob Nagle, Barry Pearl, and Ellen Ratner will star in the Falcon Theatre’s production of Robert Klane’s Where’s Poppa?, February 28-March 25. The production, to be directed by Gordon Hunt, will open officially on March 9,

Based on the 1970 film of the same name, which Klane adapted from his novel, Where’s Poppa? tells of Gordon Hocheiser (Marlow), a middle-aged man whose love life is constantly complicated by his overbearing mother (Burke), and who falls in love with the nurse (MacNichol) he hires to take care of her.

Burke’s many stage credits include the Broadway revival of Into the Woods, Fuddy Meers, Kimberly Akimbo, and Wonder of the World.
MacNichol’s Broadway credits include Two Shakespearean Actors and The Green Bird. Marlow’s many Los Angeles-area stage credits include Nothing Sacred and You Can’t Take It With You.

Nagle’s stage credits include Moonlight and Magnolias and Loot. Pearl starred in the original Broadway productions of Bye Bye Birdie and Oliver! and is best known for playing Doody in the film version of Grease. Ratner was recently seen in the Los Angeles production of Pot Mom.
