Bennett, Black, Jersey Boys, Wilson, et al. Win Grammy Awards

The winners of the 49th Annual Grammy Awards were announced tonight in Los Angeles.

The winner for Best Musical Show Album was Jersey Boys. Playwright and comedian Lewis Black took home the Grammy for Best Comedy Album for The Carnegie Hall Performance.

The winner for Best Traditional Pop Album was Tony Bennett for Duets: An American Classic; Bennett also won for Best Collaboration with Vocals for his performance of For Once in My Life with Stevie Wonder. In addition, Nancy Wilson won the Grammy for Jazz Vocal Album for Turned to Blue.

The late Ossie Davis and his wife Ruby Dee shared the Grammy for Best Spoken Word Album for With Ossie and Ruby: In This Life Together with former U.S. president Jimmy Carter for Our Endangered Values.
