Legendary performers Barbara Cook and Eartha Kitt will return to the Café Carlyle this spring. Cook will play the beloved Upper East Side venue from March 1-April 1, while Kitt will perform April 4-29. Both shows will have $100 covers, but no minimum.

Cook is known for her Broadway roles in Candide, The Music Man, and She Loves Me. For the past 30 years, she has been one of the country’s most beloved cabaret and concert artists. Last month, she became the first female popular vocalist to present a solo concert at the Metropolitan Opera House.

Kitt has starred on Broadway in New Faces of 1952, Timbuktu!, The Wild Party, and Nine. On Monday, February 6, she will receive the “Nightlife Legend” Award at the 2006 New York Nightlife Awards at Town Hall.

Prior to Cook’s engagement, Ute Lemper will appear at the Carlyle, February 7-25, with her new show Blue Angels and Demons. For more information on all these shows, call 212-744-1600.
