Anthony Crivello and Linda Hart Set for CST’s A Flea in Her Ear

Anthony Crivello and Linda Hart will star in the Chicago Shakespeare Theater’s upcoming production of George Feydeau’s farce A Flea in Her Ear, March 10-April 23. The play will be performed in a new adaptation by playwright David Ives, directed by Gary Griffin.

Also in the cast are Rick Hall, Ora Jones, Rick Boynton, Kevin Gudahl, Timothy Edward Kane, Bradley Mott, Michele Graff, William Dick, Mattie Hawkinson, Dale Bensen, Kathy Scambiatterra, and Rian Jairell.

Ives is best known for his plays All in the Timing and Polish Joke. Griffin is currently represented on Broadway by The Color Purple. His previous credits include the City Center Encores! productions of The Apple Tree, The New Moon, and A Tree Grows in Brooklyn.

Crivello won a Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical for Kiss of the Spiderwoman; he has also appeared on Broadway in Evita, Les Misérables, and Marie Christine. Hart has starred on Broadway in Hairspray and Anything Goes, and was recently seen Off-Broadway in The Great American Trailer Park Musical.
