Ally Sheedy and Frederick Weller are among the actors set to participate in LOVE, an evening of short plays to benefit Women’s Expressive Theater (WET). The event will be held at 7pm on Monday, February 13 at the Diane von Furstenberg Theatre (383 West 12th Street).

The program will include readings of works by Brooke Berman, Bridget Carpenter, Julia Cho, Cusi Cram, and Julia Jordan, directed by Abby Epstein. After the readings, there will be a party followed by late-night shopping at the Diane von Furstenberg store.

Sheedy has starred on stage in Advice from a Caterpillar, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, and Triptych, and is well known for her performances in such films as The Breakfast Club and High Art. Weller has starred on Broadway in Take Me Out and the critically acclaimed revivals of Glengarry Glen Ross and Seascape.

Tickets to LOVE range in price from $25 to $100; they can be ordered through www.wetweb.org.
