Casting Announced for The Broadway Musicals of 1935

Casting has just been announced for the second concert in this year’s “Broadway by the Year” series, The Broadway Musicals of 1935, which will be held at The Town Hall (123 West 43rd Street) on Monday, March 15 at 8pm.
The cast includes theater stars Gretha Boston, Chuck Cooper, Darius de Haas, Douglas Sills, Emily Skinner, Barbara Walsh, and Laurie Williamson in addition to cabaret performers Todd Murray and Lumiri Tubo.
The Broadway Musicals of 1935 will offer highlights from all eight original musicals that opened on Broadway that year, including such songs as “Little Girl Blue,” “Summertime,” and “Begin the Beguine.” Tickets for the concert are $45 and may purchased by calling Ticketmaster at 212-307-4100 or The Town Hall box office at 212-840-2824.
