The Drama Book Shop has announced the next two programs in its “Playwrights and Performers” series.

On March 3, Peter Parnell will read selections from his play QED, which played on Broadway last season. He will also be interviewed by moderator David Finkle and will participate in a question and answer session with the audience. Parnell’s works for the stage include The Cider House Rules, An Imaginary Life, Romance Language, and Sorrows of Stephen.

On March 13, Larry Kramer will appear at the book shop to discuss his career. Respected as a journalist, novelist, and screenwriter, Kramer is also the author of the critically acclaimed play The Normal Heart, which concerns the early years of the AIDS crisis.

The events will take place at the Drama Book Shop (250 West 40th Street, between Seventh and Eighth avenues) and both will begin at 6pm. There is no charge for attendance but seating is limited and advance reservations are recommended; for reservations, phone 212-944-0595, ext. 417.
