Mark Hollmann and Greg Kotis, the Tony Award-winning songwriting duo behind the hit Broadway musical Urinetown, have announced a 54 Below show entitled Appalling Notions, Fully Realized: The Songs of Hollmann and Kotis. The performance is slated for February 5.

Broadway veterans and Urinetown alums Jennifer Laura Thompson, Charlie Pollock, Daniel Marcus, Rick Crom, and Kristie Dale Sanders will accompany Hollmann and Kotis in performing songs from their two past projects, Urinetown and Yeast Nation, as well as selections from upcoming projects including The Sting and their untitled zombie musical.

Urinetown made its Broadway premiere on September 20, 2001, at Henry Miller's Theatre (now the Stephen Sondheim Theatre). The show went on to earn 10 Tony nominations, winning three, and ran for a total of 965 performances, closing on January 18, 2004.
