Theater publicist Leslie Baden Papa has been added to the first Drama Desk panel discussion of 2014, You Gotta Have a Gimmick…or a Star! on February 10 at Stage 72. As previously announced, Papa will join a panel that already includes theater critic Peter Filichia and theater publicists Joshua Ellis and Susan Schulman.

Randie Levine-Miller, a former publicist and current director of special events for the Drama Desk, will moderate the panel, which will focus on the skills it takes to promote a show. The discussion will be held from 6pm-7:15pm.

The Drama Desk is an organization dedicated to honoring Broadway, off-Broadway, and off-off-Broadway productions throughout New York City. Founded in 1949 by a group of theater critics, editors, reporters, and publishers, the group presents the annual Drama Desk Awards every spring.
