Ruthe Ponturo and John Thomas Fischer's Til Divorce Do Us Part: The Musical to Open Off-Broadway

Mark Waldrop will direct this comedy, based on a real-life story, at DR2 Theatre.

Til Divorce Do Us Part: The Musical, a new comedy with concept, lyrics, and choreography by Ruthe Ponturo and music by John Thomas Fischer, will begin performances at DR2 Theatre on February 7. Opening night will be February 18. Mark Waldrop directs.

The musical is based on the true story of Ponturo, the wife of a Broadway producer. When Ponturo's husband ended their decades-long marriage, she turned to her friends, and embarked on a comic journey of self-discovery.
The cast features John Thomas Fischer, Martin Landry, Erin Maguire, Dana Wilson, and Gretchen Wylder.

Sets are by Mitchell Greenberg, with costumes by Paloma Young and Ashley Rose Horton, lighting by Julie Duro, and sound by Nevin Steinberg.
