Off-Broadway's York Will Host a Candid Chat With Legendary Songwriter Sheldon Harnick

The evening is part of the York’s Winter 2014 series celebrating Harnick’s work.

The York Theatre Company will host A Conversation With Sheldon Harnick on Monday, February 10, at 7:30pm. The special event, part of the York's Winter 2014 Musicals in Mufti Series, will take place at the York's home, the Theatre at St. Peter's, and be led by artistic director James Morgan.

"This promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity full of history, laughter, and insider tales from the Golden Age of Musical Theatre," said Morgan in a statement. "I am thrilled to continue our Musical Conversations Series with Sheldon Harnick, who has become a good friend of mine and of the York's."

The York celebrates Harnick with its winter 2014 Mufti Series, which will continue with his musicals Dragons from January 31-February 2, Malpractice Makes Perfect from February 14-16, The Boy Fell Dead from February 21-23, and Tenderloin from March 7-9. Among his many other musicals are Fiddler on the Roof, Fiorello!, She Loves Me, The Apple Tree, and The Rothschilds.
