Lena Hall Will Star With Neil Patrick Harris in Broadway's Hedwig and the Angry Inch

The ”Kinky Boots” cast member takes on the role of Yitzhak.

Lena Hall, who can currently be seen as Nicola in Broadway's Kinky Boots, will take on the role of Yitzhak in the upcoming Broadway premiere of John Cameron Mitchell and Stephen Trask's Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Neil Patrick Harris stars in the production, which begins previews at the Belasco Theatre on March 29, with an opening set for April 22.

Hall has also appeared on Broadway in Tarzan, Dracula, 42nd Street, and Cats, as well as in The Toxic Avenger, Bedbugs, and Green Eyes. She played "Young Miranda" in the Sex and the City film and vied for the role of Elle Woods on the reality series Legally Blonde, the Search for the Next Elle Woods. She is the lead singer of the band The Deafening.

Directed by Michael Mayer and featuring musical staging by Spencer Liff, Hedwig's creative team is set to include Julian Crouch (scenic design), Arianne Phillips (costume design), Kevin Adams (lighting design), Mike Potter (hair and makeup design), Timothy O'Heir (sound design), Ethan Popp (music supervision), Liz Caplan (vocal supervision), and Johanna McKeon (associate director). Justin Craig serves as musical director of The Angry Inch band, alongside Justin Craig (guitar and keyboards), Matt Duncan (bass), Tim Mislock (guitar), and Peter Yanowitz (drums).

Additionally, the producers have announced that Harris will extend his appearance in the production through August 17.
