Primary Stages has announced its 30th-anniversary season, which will feature three premiers at The Duke on 42nd Street. Kicking the season off will be a new comedy by Smash creator Theresa Rebeck. The play, entitled Poor Behavior, follows two couples as they spend a less-than-idyllic weekend in the country. Evan Cabnet will direct the play, which is scheduled to run from July-September.

In the fall, Billy Porter, who won a Tony for his role in Kinky Boots, will premiere his new play, While I Yet Live. Running from September-November with direction by Sheryl Kaller, While I Yet Live explores coming-of-age in Pittsburgh among a bevy of fascinating and strong-willed women.

Finally, John Rando will direct a new collection of short plays by David Ives entitled Lives of the Saints. This series of short plays will run from February-March 2015.

Founded in 1984, Primary Stages has produced world and New York premieres of plays by A.R. Gurney, Horton Foote, Athol Fugard, and many more.
