Du Bois and Mary White Ovington, a white Unitarian granddaughter of abolitionists.
The New Federal Theatre has been a New York City institution for 44 years. Woodie King Jr. has produced and directed many Broadway and off-Broadway productions, including Checkmates and Don't Get God Started.
