Full casting has been announced for 50 Shades! The Musical — The Original Parody, a stage musical inspired by E.L. James' salacious best-seller Fifty Shades of Grey. The musical, featuring a book and score by Amanda Blake Davis, Jody Shelton, Ashley Ward, Al Samuels, and Dan Wessels, will play the Elektra Theatre beginning February 21. Opening night is set for March 12 under the direction of Al Samuels and Robert Lindley.

Featured in the company will be David Andino, Kaitlyn Frotton, Chris Grace, Adam Hyndman, Tim Murray, Amber Petty, Casey Rogers, Alec Varcas, Ashley Ward, and Chloe Williamson. On the creative team are John Dunnett (sets and costumes), Herrick Goldman (lighting), Matt Kraus (sound), and Mindy Cooper (choreography).

50 Shades! The Musical — The Original Parody is described as opening with "a trio of girlfriends setting aside their staid book-club fare in favor of a sexier sort of page-turner. Interest piqued, they devour the novel Fifty Shades of Grey while the delicious affair of the notorious characters, Anastasia and Christian, comes to life before their eyes."
