Don't Pregame This Super Bowl; Watch Michele Lee Sing Joni Mitchell Instead

The Tony- and Emmy-nominated actress/singer brings her one-woman show to 54 Below the same weekend as a very big football game.

In case you haven't heard, a very big football game will be broadcast on February 2. That weekend, you can either spend your time pregaming and praying that the Seahawks will finally win OR you can head to Broadway night spot 54 Below and see Tony- and Emmy-nominated actress/singer Michele Lee strut her stuff.

“I can’t wait,” says Lee, star of the original Broadway productions of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and Seesaw, as well as the CBS series Knots Landing. “When I entertain, I feel like it is a party and it’s the audience I get to play with.”

Concertgoers on January 30, 31, and February 1 can expect a host of backstage stories, anecdotes that show off Lee’s more fangirl-ish side, songs she introduced on Broadway, and “songs I wish I could have introduced.”

Not all of it will be theater-related; some tunes are ones that Lee just enjoys, such as Joni Mitchell’s “A Case of You,” which you can watch Lee sing in the video below.
