Here Lies Love, David Byrne and Fatboy Slim's Drama Desk Award-winning musical about the life of former first lady of the Philippines Imelda Marcos, will return to off-Broadway's Public Theater for an open run, The New York Times reports.

Producer Joey Parnes confirmed the information after coauthor Byrne emailed the news to his fan base. Here Lies Love will once again play the Public's LuEsther Hall, though the remounting, for which the Public will be a producing partner, will be a commercial run that rents the space.

As directed by Alex Timbers, Here Lies Love features a company that performs the show throughout the theater space, on two separate stages that become linked by a rotating platform. Adding to the show's nightclub feel, most audience members stand throughout the piece's 90-minute running time and are guided to follow the rotating platform.

Here Lies Love is the recipient of 2013 Drama Desk Awards for Outstanding Music, Lighting, and Projection Design, as well as the Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding New Off-Broadway Musical. Two of the production's stars, Ruthie Ann Miles and Conrad Ricamora, received 2013 Theatre World Awards for their performances as Imelda Marcos and Ninoy Acquino, respectively.

Casting and dates for the return engagement will be announced in the coming weeks.
