Pageant — The Musical will return to the stage as a special benefit event for the first time in over 20 years when it runs for four performances at the Red Lacquer Club on February 3, 10, 17, and 24. The show — which features several men playing the parts of the female contestants, one of whom the audience selects as a winner — will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

The production's female-impersonating portion of the cast will feature Nick Cearley (The Skivvies), Tom Deckman (Spamalot), Frankie James Grande (Mamma Mia!), and Marty Thomas (Xanadu), with more casting to be announced soon. Tony nominee Brad Oscar (Big Fish) will be the event's host.

Pageant — The Musical is written by Bill Russell and Frank Kelly with music by Albert
Evans and is conceived by Robert Longbottom. Matt Lenz directs, with choreography by Shea Sullivan, music direction by Mark Hartman, costumes by Stephen Yearick, scenic design by Paul DePoo, and lighting by Paul Miller.
