Woody Allen, Jessica Chastain, Christopher Plummer, et al. Win Onlne Film Critics Society Awards

The 15th Annual Online Film Critics Society Awards have been announced, according to Deadline.com.


Terrence Malick’s The Tree of Life, scored five awards, including Best Picture and Best Director. Stage veteran Jessica Chastain was named Best Supporting Actress for her work in the film, and also received the group’s special award for Breakout Performer of the Year.


Actors Michael Fassbender (Shame), Tilda Swinton (We Need To Talk About Kevin), and Christopher Plummer (Beginners), were also winners.


Woody Allen took home the award for Best Original Screenplay for Midnight in Paris and Martin Scorsese received a special award for his contributions to the film industry.
