Richard Thomas to Host National Meningitis Association Gala

Emmy Award winner and Broadway veteran Richard Thomas will host the National Meningitis Association’s Give Kids a Shot! gala, to take place at the New York Athletic Club (180 Central Park South), on Monday, April 23, beginning at 6:30pm.

Honorees will include Jeri Acosta & Jerri Greenwell; philanthropist actress Sara Herbert-Galloway & Barry J. Klarberg; Monarch Wealth & Business Management; and Sanofi-Pasteur, the vaccines division of Sanofi- Aventis Group.

The fundraising event will help NMA continue and expand its vital work in the fight against meningitis.

Thomas’s Broadway credits include Race, Sunrise at Campobello, Strange Interlude, The Playroom, Everything in the Garden, Fifth of July, The Front Page, Democracy, and A Naked Girl On The Appian Way. In addition, he received an Emmy Award for his work on The Waltons.
