Rene Rivera to Star in The King of the Desert at Casa 0101

René Rivera will star in a new production of Stacey Martino’s play, The King of the Desert to be presented on the new Main Stage at Casa 0101 Theater in Boyle Heights, California, January 27-February 12. Sal Romeo will direct the production.
The play depicts a Mexican American boy’s journey of self-discovery through adulthood and the realization of his dreams.
The set will be designed by Danuta Tomzynski, with lighting by Jeremy Pivnick and visual effects by Mat Hale.
