Peter Brouwer, Leopold Lowe to Star in Abingdon’s Lost on the Natchez Trace

Abingdon Theatre Company has announced casting for the world-premiere of Lost on the Natchez Trace, by Jan Buttram. Kate Bushmann will direct the production in the Abingdon’s Dorothy Strelsin Theatre, February 3-26, with an opening on February 12.

The play concerns slave auctioneer Malcolm Jeters and the one man — a runaway slave — who can save his life.


Peter Brouwer will portray Malcolm Jeters, while Leopold Lowe will co-star as Tom.

The production will feature scenic design by Andrew Lu, costume design by Catherine Siracusa and Sidney Levitt, lighting design by Travis McHale, and sound design by David Margolin Lawson.
