Meghann Fahy, Jenna Leigh Green, et al. Set for Twilight: The Musical Benefit Reading

Casting has been announced for a concert reading of Twilight: The Musical, to be offered on January 16 at 8pm at New World Stages. Gabriel Barre will direct the presentation that will serve as a benefit for Blessings in a Backpack.

Created by Ashley Griffin, and featuring music and lyrics by Jeremy Ezell, Ashley Griffin, Sean Mahoney, David Mallamud, and Michael Sutherland, the show centers on teenage outsider Bella Swan who risks everything when she embarks on a star-crossed romance with vampire Edward Cullen.

The company will feature Meghann Fahy as Bella, along with Jenna Leigh Green, Lauren Lopez, Jason Michael Snow, Olli Haaskivi, Eddie Gutierrez, Lindsay Dunn, Michael McArthur, Kaitlin Mesh, and Cliff Samuels.

Blessings in a Backpack is a program that helps to feed elementary school children whose families qualify for the federal Free and Reduced Price Meal program, but have little to no food on the weekends.
