Martin Dockery to Star in The Bike Trip on January 24

Martin Dockery will star in one-night-only performance of his award-winning solo play, The Bike Trip on Tuesday January 24 at 8pm at The Barrow Street Theatre.

In The Bike Trip, Dockery sets out to recreate the exact circumstances of the first LSD trip by the drug’s inventor, Albert Hoffman in 1943. With painstaking attention to detail, Dockery locates the office in Switzerland where Hoffman invented LSD and ingested it for the first time, and from which he rode his bike to his home while under the influence.

Dockery’s other plays include Wanderlust, The Surprise, The Holy Land Experience, and Bursting into Flames.
