Jane Powell to Host Career Transition For Dancers’ Awards Luncheon
Veteran actress Jane Powell will host Career Transition For Dancers’ third annual Heart & Soul awards luncheon, to be held at Club Colette on Thursday, March 15, beginning at 11:30am.
Powell has starred on Broadway in Irene and toured in numerous shows including South Pacific, My Fair Lady, Peter Pan, The Sound of Music, Carousel, Brigadoon, The Boy Friend, Little Mary Sunshine, Oklahoma!, The Student Prince, I Do! I Do!, and The Most Happy Fella. She is probably best known for her film work, starring in of 20 major MGM musicals, including Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and Royal Wedding.
Entertainment for the benefit luncheon will be provided by students from The Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts Dance Department, based in West Palm Beach, Florida.
