Jackie Hoffman to Teach Comedy Workshop for A Class Act NY

Broadway veteran Jackie Hoffman will teach a comedy workshop for kids and teens at the acting studio, A Class Act NY, on Saturday, February 18 at Ripley-Grier Studios. The session will run from Noon to 4pm.

Hoffman will work with students for a few hours, helping participants to tap into their inner clowns by coaching comedic scenes, offering constructive criticism, and giving feedback. An agent will come in for the last hour to conduct a mock audition. The class is open to all skill levels.

The actress’ Broadway credits include The Addams Family, Xanadu and Hairspray. She won an Obie Award for her performance Off-Broadway in The Book of Liz, and her solo shows have garnered her MAC and Bistro Awards.
