Full Cast Announced for Broadway’s Nice Work If You Can Get It

Full casting has been announced for the new Broadway musical, Nice Work if You Can Get It, which will play the Imperial Theatre, starting on March 29, with an official opening on April 24. The show will be directed and choreographed by Kathleen Marshall.

The musical will feature iconic George and Ira Gershwin songs, as well as some unknown gems in their catalog, and a book by Joe DiPietro. The show follows Billie Bendix, a tough-as-nails bootlegger who meets wealthy playboy Jimmy Winter on the weekend of his nuptials.

The cast will be led by Matthew Broderick as Jimmy and Kelli O’Hara as Billie. In addition, Academy Award winner Estelle Parsons has joined the previously reported principal cast as Millicent Winter. Other featured players include Judy Kaye as Estonia Dulworth, Michael McGrath as Cookie McGee, Jennifer Laura Thompson as Eileen Evergreen, Chris Sullivan as Duke Mahoney, Robyn Hurder as Jeannie Muldoon, Stanley Wayne Mathis as Chief Berry and Terry Beaver as Senator Max Evergreen.

The cast will also include Cameron Adams, Clyde Alves, Kaitlyn Davidson, Jason DePinto, Kimberly Faure, Robert Hartwell, Stephanie Martignetti, Barrett Martin, Michael X. Martin, Vivian Nixon, Adam Perry, Jeffrey Schecter, Jennifer Smith, Joey Sorge, Samantha Sturm and Kristen Beth Williams.

The production will have scenic design by Derek McLane, costume design by Martin Pakledinaz, lighting design by Peter Kaczorowski, sound design by Brian Ronan, music supervision by David Chase and musical direction by Tom Murray.
