Edward Norton to Be Honored at Signature Center Opening Gala

Edward Norton will receive the Signature Theatre’s Playwrights’ Award at the Signature Center Opening Gala Celebration, to take place at the company’s new Frank Gehry-designed Signature Center on Monday, January 30.

The award was created to recognize individuals and organizations who, through their vision and leadership, have placed their own signatures upon American theatre.

Norton made his professional debut at Signature Theatre in Edward Albee’s Fragments and also performed in Signature’s production of Lanford Wilson’s Burn This. He also served as the Capital Campaign Chair for the Signature Center. Among his many film credits are Oscar-nominated turns in the films American History X and Primal Fear.
